History

The Parent Support Group (PSG), established 1 April 2006, is made up of a group of dedicated and committeed parent volunteers who strongly believe in the benefits of partnership with the school.

We welcome you to be partners with us in the education of our children. As parents, we are one of the foundations to shaping the future of our children. Along with the teachers, we play a vital role in supporting the school's efforts in moulding our children into well-rounded and successful individuals.

PSG operates a Family Life Centre (FLC), set up in the school. The FLC adopts a wholesome family learning mode in

• Equipping parents with effective parenting skills
• Training them to be parent facilitators
• Helping school personnel by enhancing our family life
• Providing students with life skills training

The parent-child relationship has much impact on the child's academic achievements and positive attitudes/behaviour, regardless of social-economic status, ethnic/racial background or parents' educational level.

Some privileges PSG members enjoy are:

• Subsidized workshop and parenting talks
• Use of the "Family Life Centre" for coffee talk (a bi-monthly members get-together)
• Use of the school gymnasium, hall for badmintor games, etc
• Use of the FLC resource library (coming soon)
